Larva Dream follows in that fine tradition, creating a charming little experience you can complete over a coffee break but will think about for hours afterwards. Your goal is to guide a little larva through each stage. You create paths by clicking objects in the world and seeing what they do, setting up sequences of events by moving items into place. For example, there might be a beetle sitting on the ground, but before he’ll move, you should get the spider out of the picture. After the beetle is gone, knock some leaves aside and you can use the spring to hop the larva to the exit. Simple, cute, just the right amount of challenge, and tons of fun.
